Tropical Caribe is on Calle Genova, in the center of Bayahíbe, the fishing village on the southeast coast next to East National Park. It's a set of three-story buildings painted yellow, with white railings, a garden with palms, a wooden gazebo and an outdoor pool in the middle. The construction is fairly recent, and the private parking is free.
It's not a hotel with a grand front desk or included breakfast: it's for people who'd rather cook something, rest somewhere without noise and spend little while they spend their days on Saona, diving or at the beach. Bayahíbe beach is about 600 meters away (a 7-minute walk, according to Booking.com) and the village center, with its restaurants and shops, is around 300.
